Do you ever feel overwhelmed by anxiety and wish you had a guide to help you navigate through it? Whether you're a teen or an adult experiencing anxiety, ‘Not Your Average… Anxiety Journal’ is designed to help you understand, manage and overcome it in ways that actually work for you.

Created by experienced professionals, Dayle Johnson, a Registered Psychologist, and Tabitha Thompson, a seasoned business owner in the disability sector, this journal combines their expertise and passion to support your mental wellbeing.

As Directors at Calm Minds Clinic, they understand the challenges anxiety brings and they’ve crafted this journal to help you find clarity and relief.

What makes this journal different?

Unlike other journals that only give you space to write; this one guides you through interactive exercises that will enhance your understanding of anxiety and how it uniquely affects you.

Through strategies like mindfulness, grounding techniques, body mapping, box breathing and more, you’ll develop the skills to regain control when anxiety strikes.

Discover what calm feels like with activities like the ‘Find Your Calm’ quiz, a habit tracker and reflective journal prompts. You'll not only track your progress, but also create your own personalised anxiety action plan.

Plus, there’s plenty of space for journaling and drawing your thoughts and feelings - because sometimes words aren’t enough.

‘Not Your Average… Anxiety Journal’ also features things like:

- Understanding Anxiety: Learn what anxiety is and how it manifests in your life.

- Proven Techniques: Grounding exercises, mindfulness and body mapping to help you find calm in the storm.

- Action Planning: Build resilience and create your very own anxiety action plan.

- Express Yourself: Dedicated space for journaling or drawing to process your emotions.

- Track Your Progress: Use the habit tracker to recognise patterns and celebrate victories.

- Interactive Exercises: A 'Find Your Calm' quiz and practical tips to engage your parasympathetic nervous system, your body's control centre, to help calm things down.

This journal is more than just a place to write; it’s a personalised guide to help you feel empowered in your journey toward managing anxiety. The interactive exercises can act as a guide as to why your anxiety acts up, how to manage it in the moment and what you can do to feel more in control of your mind and body.

This book is beautiful and just what I was looking for

I bought this book as an early Christmas present for my teen and I'm really glad I did, it's been something they can write and draw their feelings in and helps them understand anxiety in a simplified way, first words when opening the parcel were 'I've always wanted a book like this'. The book itself is really well made and great quality. 5 stars :)

    Exceptional Resource for Teenagers

My daughter has started using this book to help her with anxiety. I am very impressed with the skills this book is giving her especially the part where she is learning how to prioritise good habits.
