Deb is a qualified and Registered Counsellor with a MACouns, a Graduate Diploma in Counselling, a Graduate Certificate in Counselling (Mental Health), and a Diploma in Community Services. She is ACA registered at Level 2.
Deb is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for your personal journey. With an extensive background in community services and welfare, she has worked in a variety of roles from case management to counselling. Deb has a strong knowledge base with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, having worked with refugees and providing trauma-informed care.
Using a person-centred, holistic approach to counselling, Deb's goal is to create a welcoming space where clients can share their stories without fear of judgement. She believes that individuals are the experts of their own lives, and her role is to support them in exploring their personal narratives through storytelling, somatic awareness, and meditation to foster growth and healing.
Deb works with clients based on their values and spiritual beliefs, providing counselling and guidance in grief, loss or bereavement. Combining her lived experience with evidence-based modalities, she offers sensitive and professional support, particularly for women navigating birth trauma, pregnancy loss, post-natal depression, health anxiety and infertility grief.
Her genuine empathy and commitment to high standards ensure that her counselling is both compassionate and professional, empowering clients to find the strength, clarity and support they need during times of grief, loss and bereavement.
